Lavender represents Soothing quietness & Tranquility. Lavender is a scent that always manages to soothe me and I had to capture that feeling into a painting. I think you can see the love and attention in this painting because though it isn't large, it's very dear to me.
I painted this in the tiny steps as I was trying to recover from some pain in my hands and every time I sat down I was reminded of that scent and calmed down immediately. I hope this painting can do the same for you.
