This little beauty was born in a time when I felt severely restricted as an artist (and a person!). Due to some bad hand & arm pain, I couldn't create the detailed artwork that I was used to and as a way of relieving that stress I started painting. Through painting I found a new freedom, a freedom of shapes and colours and feeling and this is one of the 4 tiny pieces that came from that experience.
Watercolour, Pencil & Gold or Copper ink on cotton paper. Signed on front & back. These pieces are tiny! Measuring around 9,5 x 6cm (3,75x2,36). Each piece is unique and therefor has a unique size too.
